Mojo Jacket March update, Johnny Clegg Support gigs, Cover videos and More touring planned!

It’s been a big couple of months for us, we are now half way through the support gigs for Johnny Clegg, getting ready to jump in our new tour bus (2003 Toyota high ace commuter that really needs more power to tow the trailer) and head up to Sydney for the second gig.
The first gig went well, playing at the Palais was a blast. Thanks to Johnny Clegg
and Lennard Promotions. Now we just need to rock the second show in Sydney, then work on getting a main act show.
The Brisbane tour went well and we have started planning our around Australia tour
for June, hopefully going all the way around this time instead of running out of time and only getting up the east coast.
As you may have noticed we have started posting our cover videos, hope you are enjoying the music, and our goofy, high definition faces.

Mojo Jacket will be playing at the Brunswick Hotel this Thursday (12th jan 11pm) along with Ian Archibald and These City Lights (night starts round 8pm), Should be a great night of original music!
We also have a gig at the Espy next Tuesday evening (17th Jan). We will be trying out original songs and working on our show for our upcoming gigs supporting international act Johnny Clegg in Melbourne and Sydney, so come on down and let us know what you think
In Tour news: Mojo jacket will be playing gigs and touring up through Sydney, Tweed heads and Brisbane in Feb, check back here or add us on facebook for updates.
In other news some new Mojo Jacket vids (covers at this stage) should start appearing on here and our facebook in the next week or so!

We are soaking up the sunshine in beautiful cairns till Monday, with gigs at The Woolshed in Cairns and The Rising Sun in Palm Cove. If you are in town, come down and see us play, or just find us relaxing and say G’day, we will probably be lounging round the lagoon or doing some sort of fun/strenous local activity. Any fans/friends of Mojo Jacket who are feeling active and want to join us for Hiking (pyramid mountain) or Mountain Biking (smithfield) let us know! 2011 Winter Australian Tour

Mojo Jacket will be traveling on a tour up the east coast, across to darwin and down through central australia this winter, if you have or know someone with a venue along the way who would like to book us, let us know and we will fit it in where we can!
So far have played some awesome gigs in Bright, and snowboarded in some amazing white-out gale force wind conditions at Hotham and Falls Creek, and we are now working our way up through Sydney, then on to Byron and Brisbane, Mackay, Airlie Beach, Cairns etc. Check upcoming gigs or the calendar for details.
